KPhotoAlbum

Communication in the KPhotoAlbum community is happening over the following media:

• IRC

We would be more then happy if we hear from you.

The KPhotoAlbum IRC channel is located on irc.kde.org and is called #kphotoalbum. IRC is an online chat, which both have advantages and disadvantages. The advantages is that you may get immediate feedback, while the disadvantages is that no one may see your questions or comments. So please have patience when using IRC, if no one answer you within a few minutes, it may simply be because they are not next to their computer at the moment.

There are four mailing lists:

announcement list

Moderated list which contains only announcement regarding new versions and similiar

general discussion list

This list is for suggesting/discussing new features and KPhotoAlbum in general. You need to be subscribed to the list to send to it!

translators list

This list is for announcement meant for translators of KPhotoAlbum.

bugs mailing list

On this list all new bugzilla bugs will show up. This is both for monitoring bug status, and for discussing bugs.

The discussion lists are archived so it might be useful to read what has happened in the past.

Bugs, inconveniences, and feature wishes are all entered into bugzilla.

To enter a bug in bugzilla, you may either go through the wizard or go directly to the KPhotoAlbum Bug Entry. The later requires that you have an account but following the URL allows you to create an account right away.

A Google+ page has been created for KPhotoAlbum. It remains to be seen how the use of Google+ evolves...
